Description Nitrate reductase (NAD (P)H) is an enzyme with system name nitrite:NAD (P)+ oxidoreductase.
This enzyme catalises the following chemical reaction:nitrite + NAD (P)+ + H2O↔ nitrate + NAD (P)H + H+. Nitrate reductase is an iron-sulfur molybdenum flavoprotein.
